Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Washington Briefing A Work Product of the Legislative & Governmental Affairs Council July 3, 2008   FEDERAL LEGISLATION   FY09 Budget Resolution Both congressional chambers have passed the conferenced budget resolution for fiscal year 2009 (FY09). While this resolution is not binding by law, it does provide parameters to appropriators for how much funding each program area should receive.   Of special note, language included in the agreement specifically cited the health professions programs as receiving, and deserving, more funding.
